President: Rachel Reiss
I am a junior majoring in political science, with a minors in History and Agricultural and Natural Resource Ethics and Policy. In Fall 2015, I will start a combined degree program to earn my M.S. in Management. Despite my diverse interests, I hopes to apply sustainable principles to everything I do, and integrate a practice of going green in both my personal and professional life. My favorite facet of sustainability is local food systems. Living in Gainesville has opened my eyes to what a vibrant local food scene there is. Who doesn’t love a good farmers’ market, or the opportunity to pick your own kale out of the ground? Fun fact about me is that I am studying abroad in the Netherlands during Summer 2015 at Utrecht University, that happens to boast one of the most preeminent sustainability research vessels in all of Europe.

Vice-President of Administration: Layne Marshall
My name is Layne Marshall and am a third year student pursuing a degree in Natural Resource Conservation with minors in Sustainability Studies and Mass Communication Studies. I am the Vice President of Greeks Going Green and am really excited for another year of opportunities to expand the organization! I joined Greeks Going Green as a freshman looking for ways to get more involved in sustainability and going green. As an exec member this year, I would really like to increase attendance at monthly meetings and encourage more members to get involved in our campus and surrounding community. I hope to inspire more students to educate themselves on energy, water, and overall environmental issues that we face today. I think promoting the sustainability movement on a college campus is extremely crucial to developing thousands of students who graduate and become adults that want to continue recycling and questioning how long their food has travelled to get to their plate. A fun fact about myself is that I love nature photography and travel!

Vice-President of Public Relations: Kendall Rivera
Hi, my name is Kendall Rivera, my major is accounting, and I am the VP of Public Relations for Greeks Going Green. I went to my first GGG meeting as a guest to speak about a cause I was fighting for. After attending that first meeting, I realized that GGG is the perfect platform to promote environmental awareness throughout Greek life at UF. As an exec. member, I hope to grow our number of members with even more people who are passionate about advocating a green environment. Sustainability is such a vital aspect at UF because it educates our student population on more efficient and creative ways of living with minimal impact to the environment. A fun fact about myself is that I know how to surf.

Webmaster: Jimena Vargas
Hi! My name is Jimena and I am a fourth year Finance major. Although my studies aren't related to sustainability, I decided to get involved with Greeks Going Green so I could assist the University of Florida, specifically the Greek Community, in becoming more sustainable. UF has taken many steps to become a greener campus, but I know we can do more. This past year, I was able to join other exec members to accept the Champions for Change award given to GGG for composting and recycling at the IFC Chicken Wing Charity, which raises money for Dance Marathon. It was great partnering with such a big event and working together with the greek community to get this event Green Certified. I know this next year we can work on getting more events certified, and I am excited to be a part of that process during my last year at UF.
A fun fact about me is that I was born in Germany.

Fraternity Chair: Jahza Klochko
I am a Building Construction major, minoring in Sustainability. As part of the Greek community I see many ways in which we can move towards more sustainable practices and I believe Greeks Going Green is the best way to stimulate this growth. One of my main goals this year is to reach out to more people within this community to make sure we have a representative from each and every Greek house at UF. Fun Fact: I was in a boat before I was in a car
